Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Tenpace Inc. ("Tenpace", "we", "us", "our") operates tenpace.com and Tenpace products (the "Service"). This page explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you use the Service. Individual products may provide a supplemental privacy notice for data unique to that product.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect information provided by your authentication provider:
- GitHub: Username, display name, email address, avatar URL, and organization memberships
- Google: Email address, display name, and avatar URL
- Slack: Workspace ID, user ID, display name, and avatar URL
Payment, Subscription, and Referral Information
When you start a trial or paid plan, Stripe processes your payment method and provides us with customer, subscription, invoice, payment status, billing contact, tax, refund, and dispute information needed to operate billing. Tenpace does not store full payment-card numbers. We record your selected product and offer, trial and renewal dates, entitlement status, credits, and cancellation state.
If you use a referral link, we store the referral code in an essential first-party cookie for up to 30 days and associate it with the applicable billing account when you begin Checkout. We retain attribution, qualification, credit, refund, and dispute status to administer the program and prevent abuse.
Repository and Pull Request Data
When you connect repositories to Tenpace, we receive webhook events from GitHub containing:
- Pull request metadata (title, description, author, reviewers, status, labels)
- Review activity (approvals, change requests, comments)
- CI/CD check status
We do not access or store your source code. We only process pull request metadata necessary to provide notifications and workflow features.
Health and Wellness Data
If you use Tenpace Health, we process the information you choose to provide, such as workouts, food and nutrition entries, body measurements, goals, routines, available equipment, dietary preferences, and limitations. This information is used only to operate the Health features you choose.
AI processing through Bel is optional and requires separate consent. Tenpace Health provides its own supplemental privacy notice, export, consent controls, and account deletion.
Tenpace Health Circles show invited adults only the commitments they participate in and the records allowed by each member’s current sharing settings. Body measurements, limitations, profile details, and Bel conversations never enter Circles. Macro reminders are off by default; members can disable commitment and workout notifications or all reminders.
Usage Data
We process technical request information, such as IP address and browser type, when needed to secure and operate the Service. For first-party marketing measurement, we store a pseudonymous browser identifier, public page path, visit time, campaign tags you arrived with, and the referring site's hostname. The marketing record does not contain your IP address, browser user-agent string, full referring URL, or Health meals, workouts, measurements, and Agent conversations.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To send PR notifications to your configured Slack channels
- To deliver webhook events to your configured endpoints
- To send daily digests, PR reminders, and standup recaps
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To send product updates, beta news, and community announcements when you have opted in
- To provide customer support
- To process trials, subscriptions, cancellations, taxes, invoices, and referral credits
- To understand which campaigns lead to product entry, activation, paid plans, and recurring product use
Product Communications
Product update emails are optional and separate from transactional messages needed to operate your account. We record when and where a subscription was provided so that we can respect your communication preference.
Every product update email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. You can also subscribe or unsubscribe from your Tenpace profile. Unsubscribing from product updates does not stop account, security, billing, or other requested service messages.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing (e.g., connecting Slack)
- Service providers: We use infrastructure and communications providers to host, operate, and send transactional messages for the platform
- Payment processing: Stripe processes Checkout, recurring payments, invoices, refunds, disputes, and billing-portal actions on our behalf
- Optional AI features: When you enable an AI feature, we send the minimum relevant content and context to our contracted AI provider to fulfill your request
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on systems operated by Tenpace and its infrastructure providers. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. OAuth tokens and API keys are stored encrypted.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active. Pull request data is retained to provide historical context for your workflow. Product-specific retention may be described in a supplemental notice. Health users can export or delete their Health data directly from the product; encrypted backup copies expire within 30 days after deletion.
We retain transaction, invoice, tax, credit-ledger, and anti-fraud records for as long as reasonably needed for accounting, legal, dispute, and compliance purposes, even after a subscription or account ends. These records are limited to commerce data and do not include Health measurements, meals, workouts, or Agent conversations.
Anonymous first-party marketing visits that have not been linked to a product account are deleted after 90 days. If a visit is linked when you first enter a product, the acquisition record is retained with that product account so we can measure conversion and retention. It is deleted when the associated product account is deleted, subject to any legal retention requirements that apply to separate transaction records.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Disconnect third-party integrations (GitHub, Slack, Google) at any time
- Export your data
- Withdraw consent for optional product communications at any time
Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services such as GitHub, Slack, Google, and, when you opt into an AI feature, an AI model provider. Your use of those services is governed by their respective policies. We request or send only the information needed to provide the feature you choose.
Cookies
We use authentication tokens and essential browser storage to maintain your sign-in state. A referral link may also set an essential first-party attribution cookie for up to 30 days. Public Tenpace pages use a separate first-party pseudonymous measurement cookie for up to 90 days so we can preserve first touch and the latest non-direct campaign touch before your first product entry. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or advertising pixels.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
